Terms & Conditions
Hello, and welcome To Maternity & Beyond.
I'm committed to providing you with clear, professional services while ensuring we both understand our responsibilities. These Terms & Conditions outline the guidelines for using my website and booking services with me.
These terms apply when you:
Use my website and its content
Book hypnobirthing courses, antenatal classes, or infant feeding sessions
Attend services in person (Grove, Wantage, and surrounding Oxfordshire areas)
Participate in online sessions (within a 15-mile radius)
By using my services, you agree to these terms. I've written them to be as clear as possible, but please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about what they mean for our work together.
Bookings and Payment
When you book an antenatal, hypnobirthing or feeding class with me, the course fee covers attendance for the pregnant person. You’re welcome to bring one companion (such as your partner, friend or birth partner) at no extra cost unless I’ve stated otherwise for a specific class.
If you’re the one making the booking, you’re responsible for the fee and any changes to that booking.
Some courses need a minimum number of people to run. If we don’t reach that number, I may need to cancel and will offer you either an alternative date or a full refund.
If something big and unexpected happens, such as a pandemic or extreme weather, in-person course fees are non-refundable. I’ll always do my best to offer you a suitable alternative, such as rescheduling or switching to an online format.
Cancellations, Amendments & Transfers
You can amend your booking up to six weeks before the course start date, subject to a £15 admin fee.
Sometimes I may need to move a course online or change the venue, for example, to prioritise the safety of mothers, babies and course leaders. In these cases, I can’t offer a refund, but I’ll make sure the change is as smooth as possible.
If you cancel more than six weeks before the start date, you may receive a partial refund (minus the £15 admin fee). Cancellations after this point are non-refundable unless there are truly exceptional circumstances.
Course Format and Delivery
Classes may take place online or in person. Occasionally, I may need to change the format for safety or practical reasons.
My antenatal, hypnobirthing and feeding classes are designed to inform, support and empower you but they aren’t a substitute for personalised medical advice. I’m a qualified and experienced practitioner, trained with Love Your Birth Hypnobirthing and committed to providing up-to-date, evidence-based guidance.
I’ll share relaxation techniques, comfort strategies for labour, and practical tips for birth and early parenting. Please take responsibility for your own wellbeing during sessions and only take part in activities you’re comfortable with.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
Anything shared in our classes stays in the group. The only exception is if I have a safeguarding concern, in which case I may need to share information with the relevant authorities.
I take your privacy seriously. Any personal data you provide will be handled in line with UK GDPR. You can read my full Privacy Policy for more details.
Behaviour
I want my classes to be inclusive, welcoming and safe spaces. Please treat me, other participants, and the venues we use with respect.
If behaviour falls short of these standards, or if I have safeguarding concerns, I may cancel a booking without a refund.
Intellectual Property
Everything I create for my classes and website including my course materials, handouts, images, videos, and written content is my intellectual property. You’re welcome to use them for your own personal learning and preparation, but you must not copy, share, or use them for commercial purposes without my written permission.
Reliability of Information
I aim to keep all information on this website accurate, up to date and helpful. However, the content is for general information purposes only and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Please always speak to your midwife, GP, or other qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, pregnancy, birth, or baby.
Third Party Links
From time to time, I may link to other websites or resources I think you might find useful. I’m not responsible for their content or availability, but I only recommend sites I genuinely believe offer value.
Limitation of Liability
I take care to provide accurate, up-to-date, and well-researched information in my antenatal, hypnobirthing and feeding classes, but I can’t guarantee that everything will be relevant or suitable for your personal circumstances. Nothing I share should replace medical advice from your midwife, GP, or other qualified healthcare professional.
I’m not liable for any loss, injury, or damage that may occur as a result of relying on the information I provide, except where the law says I can’t exclude or limit that responsibility.
Website Use
When you use my website, you agree to:
Use it for personal, non-commercial purposes
Not copy or reuse my written content, images, or course materials without my permission
Avoid introducing viruses, malware or anything that might damage the site
I work hard to keep my site accurate and up-to-date, but I can’t guarantee it’s completely free from errors or interruptions.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time, so please check back before booking. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch before making your booking.
